Vrinda Hit Website is operated by Divyanshu Sharma, a proprietary business based in India. We are the "data fiduciary" for the personal data we collect from you.

2. What Data We Collect
- Contact info: name, email address, WhatsApp/phone number — collected during checkout.
- Brief details: your idea description, brand name, theme/style preferences — you enter these in the builder.
- Payment info: handled entirely by Cashfree Payments. We do NOT store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or bank credentials. We only receive a payment status and a reference ID.
- Technical info: IP address, browser user-agent, pages visited, referrer — via Vercel analytics and Meta Pixel (for conversion measurement).
3. Why We Collect It
- To generate your website (idea + brand are the input to our AI).
- To deliver the site link over WhatsApp/email.
- To process payments and issue refunds.
- To respond to support requests.
- To improve our service and measure advertising effectiveness (aggregate, non-identifying).
- To comply with legal obligations under Indian law.
4. Legal Basis
We process personal data under the following legal bases: (a) performance of a contract (delivering the website you paid for), (b) your consent (analytics, marketing), and (c) legitimate interest (fraud prevention, service improvement).
5. Who We Share It With
We share data only with trusted service providers who help us run the service:
- Cashfree Payments — payment processing.
- Vercel — web hosting and analytics.
- Supabase — database and file storage (servers in Singapore / India region).
- Anthropic — processes the anonymized idea brief to generate HTML; no personal identifiers are sent beyond brand/idea text you provide.
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram Pixel) — for ad conversion measurement. You can opt out via browser settings.
We do NOT sell your personal data to any third party.
6. Data Retention
- Order records are retained for 7 years to comply with Indian tax and accounting law.
- Generated website files remain hosted as long as your service is active. Inactive sites may be archived after 12 months of non-use.
- Marketing/analytics cookies expire as per each provider's policy (typically 90 days to 2 years).
7. Data Security
- All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS (TLS 1.3).
- Database access uses server-side service keys; no public read access.
- Payment data never touches our servers — it goes directly from your device to Cashfree.
- We apply reasonable security practices as required by Rule 8 of the IT (Reasonable Security Practices) Rules, 2011.
8. Your Rights
Under Indian data protection law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request deletion ("right to erasure") — subject to our legal retention requirements.
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.
- File a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India.

9. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies for: session management, Meta Pixel conversion tracking, and Vercel analytics. No behavioural advertising cookies from third-party ad networks are set by our site directly.
10. Children
Our service is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us for immediate deletion.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be highlighted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised policy.
